The Crossroads of AI- Book Cover

This artwork was handpainted by me, Meelie from Meelie.art using acrylic paint on an 8x10 canvas. It serves as the cover for a book authored by my husband, delving into the realm of AI. The book explores a wide range of topics related to AI, including ethics, future applications, various implementation methods, and integration challenges. It's a valuable resource for those seeking to navigate the incorporation of AI into their business and anticipate potential obstacles along the way.

Beach V3

I have a tendency to update paintings that haven't sold. I'll change up spots if I feel like testing something out. This beach has a couple versions =) . It's all about creating right?
Acrylic Paint on Canvas.

Watercolor Lake

This was a watercolor experiment. This was  an experiment I had never tried painting a lake scene. This was fun to make but a little embarrassing to share since my skills with watercolor have improved. I guess it's good to show growth!

Acrylic Blue Jay Painting

This blue jay was one of my favorite paintings. When starting a new project I like to find out everything I can about the subject I'm painting. I learned so much about blue jays that I never knew. I have a deeper respect and admiration for these beautiful birds!

Acrylic Glow in the Dark & Black Light Painting

Here is a very fun painting I made a while back. It's made with Glow in the dark and black light paint. It's fun to have art that you can see as you fall asleep. I enjoy these. I have a collection of these and I find them weird, interesting and fun. They are a joy to make.

Backyard Wonderland | Watercolor Painting by Meelie

Started this watercolor painting ages ago when my children were little. We had the best times exploring the backyard and looking for cool bugs. Caught some toads with the cutest faces and butterflies that were way too big for their tiny hands. Even had races with caterpillars and worms!

I found making this extremely relaxing. Watercolor is underrated in my opinion. It's not easy at first to manipulate the pigment, but once you get the hang of it, it's so much fun! I hope to finish this one day...

Orange Sunset Acrylic Painting

Here is an acrylic painting of a sunset. I loved making this because I found the color combination beautiful. This reminded me of spending summer nights at Bradly Beach, NJ. We use to see the most amazing sunsets. I've never seen this plant and a sunset before in real life, but I imagine it would be stunning =).

Floral Tray Acrylic Paint On Wood Tray

One Sunday I came across these adorable little wooden trays at a craft store. I painted this with black acrylic paint and then layered fun flowers in bright acrylic paint. This was a fun quick project.

Apex Legends Watercolor

This is a watercolor painting of Apex Legends. Not my favorite or finest but I made it and I had fun doing it!

Pyrography and Painting Flower Box

Pyrography, also known as pyrogravure, is the art of decorating wood or other materials using burn marks made with a heated tool. I burned the design in the wood then I painted it with acrylic paint. To finish it off I covered in a clear resin gel to seal and make the wooden box shiny. I've made so many of these. I really like projects where I can use different mediums in one project.

Watercolor and Pen - Lake in WM NJ

Reminds me of a lake in WM that I went to when I was growing up. I really am not fond of this painting but it shows growth- this was the first watercolor after years of not painting.

Seagull in Acrylic

Here's a cute seagull. This is the first seagull I've ever painted and the last. I shall try this again one day!

Another beach

I love the beach. I used to spend my summers in Bradley Beach, NJ with my adoptive parents. I have so many amazing memories filled with colors of this particular beach. The beach in the painting doesn't actually exist. It's a combination of my favorite things from 5 different photos. This was fun to make. I really love getting lost in the colors and lines.
